This is a checklist that should be copied and put in a stack near the desk(s) of any assistant or receptionist who takes the incoming calls. Don’t rely on the memory of someone else. Put this information in black and white as a continual reminder of the details that are required for an incoming lead then the procedure that’s needed after as well.

As with many of my checklists, you can add/edit to customize more for your business. You can also create a web-based form on an intranet; this page could be open at all times then it’s a simple “send” for the lead to be emailed to the rainmaker.
