In a regular supermarket there is all this noise on the shelves and you pick the product that you have used before (past clients), has been referred to you (sphere of influence) or has been marketed to you and you decide to take a chance (net, print, phone). However, you can actually put a number to the people that will buy pizza rolls if you stuff one down their throat. It is no longer an order taker’s market. You are going to have to have a client appreciation event and stuff your ideas down your client’s throats. You are going to have to know on the expensive fsbo and expired doors and tell them why your marketing tastes better. So have a column in the business section that jumps off the page, every week and feeds them some info that changes their lives. Sorry guys, you gotta go back to work.
