Whether you’re a new agent or a seasoned agent, it might be time to address your database. Review to make certain that your ever-changing circle of friends and sphere of influence contacts are included.

This sphere of influence reaches to those with whom you do business on a regular basis – the dry cleaner, the barista at your favorite coffee shop, your mechanic, etc. Look through your checkbook register and determine who can be added; add them TODAY!

If you discovered a large quantity of new additions to your database, then set a reasonable schedule to mail out letters to these new contacts. For example, if you’ve added 40 new contacts, do 8 letters a day for 5 days. Set realistic goals and stick to them.

Updating your database and contacting your database (or the lack thereof) could mean the difference between business for you…or business for another area agent.
