Happy Friday! We’re keeping it short today.

Here’s a checklist to keep in each of your buyer files (digital or hard copy). To provide consistent, stellar service to all clients, checklists can be your secret!

Checklists should continually evolve and grow, but following a checklist for each aspect of your business will help in keeping you on track, which is good for you and your clients.

 Complete buyer counseling telephone interview.
 Complete buyer database input.
 Arrange for financial pre-approval.
 Send thank you note to buyer.
 If a referral, send thank you note to the referring agent.
 Send welcome newcomers package, if applicable.
 Send introduction to company services and team information.
 Prepare more questions for first face-to-face meeting.
 Search three years of expireds, current expireds, and previous FSBOs.
 Check personal database for potential sellers.
 Buyer guide book.
 Send buyer counseling session confirmation email.
 Call to confirm appointment 24 hours before.
 Conduct buyer counseling session in office.
 Send thank you for meeting with me letter.
 Planned itinerary for showings.
 Conduct search for property – emphasize my listings and “secret property.”
 Map with pictures.
 Close for a “favorite property decision.”
 Time-block for Monday check-in call.
 Go to closing checklist.
